1000g Refrigerant Can

Bluefire 1000g refrigerant can safely pack hydrocarbon refrigerants, fluorine-containing refrigerants, and mixed refrigerants. Different with three pieces can, it's two pieces high pressure tinplate aerosol can, whole body no welds, highly reducing explosion risk. To meet different refrigerant packaging needs, there are two available specifications: diameter 73mm/height 260mm/volume 960ml, and diameter 73mm/height 270mm/volume 990ml. Bursting pressure is 30 bar, ensuring the stable storage of refrigerants. For further ensure safety, Bluefire sets an optional pressure relief device on the can bottom, helps brands launch high quality products.
All Bluefire production lines are set up to run fully automatically in order to guarantee the same high quality of products, consistently. Each can receives DOT and TPED certification. As Bluefire also offers OEM production in all desired can shapes and sizes, any desired pattern can be printed on the cans beautifully and brightly. In order to guarantee an environmentally responsible production, Bluefire uses only water-based paint for the decorations of the cans. The entire production is therefore 100% pollution-free.

High-Capacity, High-Safety Packaging for Professional Refrigerant Storage.

Packaging in the refrigerant industry is more than just a container to hold product. It is a safe way to distribute product, meets regulations and reflects the brand of a manufacturer. Bluefire 1000g refrigerant cans are specially designed for the needs of manufacturers, distributors and end users of refrigerants. The Bluefire 1000g can is a robust two-piece can, is available in several sizes, has high burst pressure and is approved with world-class certifications.

Generous Capacity for High-Volume Applications

The Bluefire 1000g refrigerant can is for use in applications where large quantities of refrigerant are required. These cans are suitable for use on automotive air conditioning, commercial refrigeration, and industrial HVAC systems. They enable large numbers of services to be completed without the need for frequent changes of refrigerant can. Two different specifications are available to meet the user’s packaging requirements.

Option 1: Diameter 73mm, Height 260mm, Volume 960ml

Option 2:Diameter 73mm, Height 270mm, Volume 990ml

Both variants are designed to be of a compact 73mm diameter to facilitate easy handling and storage. The slight variation in height between the two variants allows for increased flexibility in terms of fill volume and packaging line configuration. As such, clients can select the exact variant to meet their individual production requirements and also desired market packaging.

Superior Safety – Two-Piece Seamless Construction

The packaging of pressurized refrigerants requires special attention to safety. Bluefire develops a two-piece high-pressure tinplate aerosol can. Unlike the conventional three-piece cans, the weld line is eliminated. The body of the can is a seamless form of metal, which has been shaped as a single, continuous piece. This form of construction does away with the typical weak points of a conventional aerosol can, where cracks, corrosion or leaks can occur. This significantly reduces the risk of explosion. This is especially important for the packaging of hydrocarbon refrigerants (e.g. propane and isobutane), fluorine-containing refrigerants (e.g. HFCs and HFOs) and mixed gases. With Bluefire’s weld-free design, brands can provide safe packaging for their users and products.

High Burst Pressure – Engineered for Demanding Conditions

Bluefire 1000g refrigerant can be stored in a safe and stable manner, even under extreme temperature variations or pressure surges. The burst pressure of the can is 30 bar (435 psi). The high pressure of the refrigerant during transport, storage and use can lead to significant changes in the vapor pressure. The robust construction of the can ensures that it remains intact during the entire life cycle of the can, from filling and closing to transport and end usage by the customer.

Optional Pressure Relief Device – An Extra Layer of Protection

The safety features built into Bluefire have been over and above the normal required safety. The optional bottom of the can fitted with a pressure relief device is a particularly clever safety feature that Bluefire have incorporated. It is designed to automatically relieve any excess pressure within the can if the pressure within the can rises above a predetermined safe pressure. The Bluefire safety feature is an intelligent safety feature that will prevent serious damage and potentially catastrophic can failure through explosion due to excessive internal can pressure. The use of a pressure relief device is particularly relevant for certain types of refrigerant with high coefficients of thermal expansion and for use in hot climates where high ambient temperatures can cause increased internal can pressure due to the thermal expansion characteristics of the refrigerant. By incorporating this feature into Bluefire cans, it allows the brand to supply a top quality product, designed to meet the highest safety requirements world-wide.

World-Class Certifications – DOT and TPED Approved

Refrigerant cans from Bluefire’s production are approved with both DOT approval for transport safety in North America and TPED approval for pressure equipment in Europe. The approval of Bluefire’s cans corresponds with internationally approved standards of safety, performance and production and is approved by all worldwide authorized and approved authorities and bodies for production of safety cans. All Bluefire cans are subject to strict control of quality during complete production from check of raw materials to test of pressure. Each can leaves the Bluefire production site 100% perfect and approved.

Fully Automated Production – Consistency at Scale

Quality uniformity is non-negotiable in industrial packaging. Bluefire employs fully automatic production lines that operate with exceptional precision and repeatability. Advanced automation controls every stage of the manufacturing process—can forming, coating, printing, valve installation, and final inspection. This ensures that every Bluefire 1000g refrigerant can, regardless of batch size, meets identical dimensional specifications, structural strength, and sealing performance. Our clients can rely on consistent, dependable quality across millions of units, shipment after shipment.

Premium OEM Printing – Bring Your Brand to Life

As a manufacturer of OEM charging cylinders for refrigerants, Bluefire is able to print any desired pattern into each can using advanced printing technology. Bright, smooth, and durable, printed patterns provide the ideal way to add powerful visual brand communication to products. From simple logo’s and bold product graphics through to information panels and specially labeled products, containing important technical information or labeling which is required by law, Bluefire works with brands of all sizes to implement their ideas and to create effective marketing on a large scale.

Eco-Friendly Water-Based Coating – Sustainable Manufacturing

Environmental responsibility is a core value at Bluefire. Our can bodies are coated with environmentally friendly water-based paint, which significantly reduces volatile organic compound emissions compared to traditional solvent-based systems. Equally important, the entire production process is pollution-free, generating minimal waste and emissions. This commitment to green manufacturing demonstrates Bluefire’s dedication to protecting our planet while delivering products of uncompromising quality. By choosing Bluefire, brands can confidently align themselves with the growing global movement toward sustainable packaging solutions.

Versatile Chemical Compatibility

The Bluefire 1000g refrigerant cans are compatible with a large number of substances. This includes hydrocarbon refrigerants (R-600a, R-290, etc. including isobutane) as well as fluorine-containing refrigerants (HFC-134a, HFO-1234yf, etc. including blends) and mixed refrigerants. The internal coating and the seal are specifically chosen in order to prevent chemical corrosion and in order to avoid contamination, in this way the refrigerant is kept pure from the filling until the last use.
